How do dentistis treat tmj?

??How do dentistis treat tmj?
It's actually call temporal mandibular disorder (TMD). A dentist could make an appliance for you to wear at hours of darkness to help correct the clicking or popping within your temporal mandibular joint. Also, for a severe grip you may need dream therapy or your jaw repositioned.
they don't really. near is a mouth piece that you can get to sleep beside at night. i enjoy it and i know that if i chew gum alot or eat alot of rime, candy etc my mouth kills me. I also enjoy this popping noice anytime i bit down on something hard. i've hear they can break your jaw and realign it. i don't know how true explicitly. good luck beside it. it hurts and is a pain contained by the you know what!!!
Usually they fit you for a night guard which will comfort you while you are sleeping. They may give you exercises and muscle relaxers, In doomed to failure cases they may want to break and reset your jaw but theres no guarentees it will build a difference. good luck
You should find a Neuromuscular Dentist. I enjoy TMD (tempormandibular disorder - it's no longer called "TMJ", that's a dated term) I own TMD so bad that my jowl locked on me.
